Welcome to Solihull Canoe Club
Canoeing is a popular and fast growing sport. It is a great way to get fit and explore the countryside of Britain.
Here at Solihull Canoe Club we take part in both recreational and
competitive kayaking & canoeing. Even if you are a complete
beginner, you are most welcome to come along for a try out under the
guidance of qualified British Canoeing (BC) coaches.
are based at Catherine-de-Barnes on the Grand Union Canal near Solihull and Birmingham in the

club is a registered charity with volunteer committee members and

club meets every Saturday with a performance group in the morning and a
recreational group in the afternoon. If you are a novice or regular canoeist and would like

The next touring trip will be to the River Wye on Saturday 12 August
Thank you Wolverhampton Club for another well organised event. Ben got top club spot with 2nd in Div 6, Becky and Liz came 5th in Div 7 and team Lawley (Ellie & Julia) came 3rd in Div 8. Well done to team Cook (Ollie and Andy) who came 3rd in Divsion 6 in their C2, beating many of the K1's! Mark came 5th in Div 4 despite 2 swims including a traditional one at the Jackfields rapids.
Well done Tom Lusty for a great set of results at the July Regatta at National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. And for being rewarded with being selected to represent GB at the Senior World Championships in Racice, Czech Republic in the K1 500m and at U23 World Championships in Piesti, Romania in the K1 1000m and 500m. And well done Oliver Cook who also did well in the C1 category.
